Biasi BI1016108 Gaia Riva 24 FanThis fan is installed in the heating appliance, it's function is to ensure toxic by-products such as (CO) carbon monoxide are extracted safely from the boiler via the flue. The fan also makes sure fresh air is sent into the boiler to enable safe burning of the gas within the boiler. The pcb controls the fan, ensuring the fan is running correctly whilst information is transmitted to the pcb from the fan. The two types of fan available are DC or 240V AC driven fans, many 240V fans have only one speed setting while the DC fan has variable speed settings enabling the boiler to operate at peak efficiency.
Most engineers change the heat resistant tubing that connects the fan to the air pressure switch because over time the tubing becomes brittle and can cause the boiler to fail. If you would like to purchase the tubing we may have displayed it below for you to purchase if required.

The term OEM stands for "Original Equipment Manufacturer" this part is an original part and was bought from the Original manufacturer of the part.
What does that really meanr a boiler manufacturer such as Wocester Bosch, Baxi, Glowworm etc.
Below is an example:
Gas Valves on most British Gas Boilers are made by Honeywell, Sit, White Rogers etc. This means that these manufacturers are the OEM for the Boiler Manufacturers, so as long as the original part is purchased (Honeywell, Sit, White Rogers) from the OEM it can be sold as an original OEM product.
OEM parts are also referred to as After Market Parts.
