Heatline Heat Exchangers (Domestic)

Also known as a secondary or plate heat exchanger, it normally sits just behind the hydraulics, diverter valve and pump within the Heatline. Heat that is generated by the main heat exchanger is diverted away from the central heating radiators by the diverter valve directly through the domestic hot water heat exchanger. The heat generated by this water is transferred across the metal plate which warms the cold water coming into the Heatline boiler and out through to the hot taps.
