Vokera Air Pressure Switches
The air pressure switch is intended to discover whether the fan inside the boiler is rotating and can be closely joined to the fan via heat resistant pressure differential tubes directly onto the fan venturies. This allows the pcb to discover whether the fan is operating since air flow from the fan closes the air pressure switch that then sends a signal to the pcb confirming the fan is functioning. Once this is established gas is transmitted to the burner along with the initialising of the ignition procedure.
If the fan stops functioning or jams, there'll be too little air flow throughout this pressure switch that would create the air pressure switch to opperate. This information is then relayed into the printed circuit board instructing that the Vokera boiler to stop supplying gas to the burner and to stop the boiler from functioning. This Vokera air pressure switch is a safety device and ensures the safe and secure performance of the boiler.
